I am in my second year at the University of Calgary, studying Honors Neuroscience with a minor in Physics! I am a Youth Ambassador with Canadian Blood Services and Vice-President of a student-led initiative called the Major Workshop, which aims to educate high schoolers about various undergraduate degree programs across Canada. I am truly passionate about mathematics and the sciences - if I had to choose one, though, it would definitely be physics :D. I am a firm believer that education is more than just memorizing things for a test and forgetting them the next day. Education is about truly taking an interest and using the knowledge you have acquired to make opportunities for yourself and others. As a tutor, I will try my best to instill this philosophy in you and help you gain a greater appreciation for what you are learning.

Some of my hobbies include yoga, meditation, and reading (I enjoy fantasies like LOTR and Harry Potter in particular). I also love the outdoors and anything to do with nature, so the Rocky Mountains are my haven. I stay active by long-distance running (I cap it a 5k though) and playing sports such as field hockey, badminton, and soccer. I am also a major space-nerd and enthusiast, and you can often catch me watching space/physics documentaries whilst sipping hot chocolate from the comfort of my sofa.
