I am here to help you achieve your academic goals. My first tutoring experience was in college, wherein I helped grade school and high school students study and do homework for different subjects. I was doing that for several years until I graduated with a degree in Psychology back in the Philippines in 2010. Afterward, I worked as a preschool teacher and then shifted to a Customer Service career in 2012. I enjoyed making customers happy but my heart is pulling me back to teaching. Hence, I opted to teach ESL online from 2017 to 2020. I took a rest during the pandemic to home tutor all my grandchildren from my niece who is working as a front liner. I am currently taking up my International Hospitality Management program in Canada and I am grabbing the chance to be able to teach again, meet various students and be part of their academic success. In my various experiences as a teacher, I enjoyed bringing out the skills and talents of each student. When I was also a student, I am always shy to show what I can do. Soon I found my confidence and was able to maximize my potential. With that, I always find it fulfilling when the students I teach reach their maximum potential. I love guiding them out until they are able to confidently do everything on their own. Most of my teaching experiences are for ESL but I also love teaching various subjects. I also love different things, especially those related to science and the arts. I can also teach any subjects at the elementary and preschool levels. I can also do business speaking and writing practices as I was also trained for that when I was working as a Customer Service Specialist for 5 years. I love doing free talks also for adult students who would love to be more confident in speaking. As for little kids, I enjoy making visual aides and using them to keep their attention on the lesson. I am diligent in doing extra searches on whatever material suites for the student's academic goals and needs. We will make your learning experience as fun and interesting as possible.
