I'll be graduating from the University of Waterloo with a Bachelor of Arts in Business and Legal studies, and a minor in Cognitive Science, this December! Before coming to Canada for University, though, I spent most of my life in Dubai and other places in the Middle East.
Other than that, I've also taken part in several extracurricular activities such as Residence Council (as its President), and 180 Degrees Consulting Waterloo (as their Finance and Legal Director), among other things. I now run my own business-law-based business, called Lawyer-ed!
I believe my strongest subjects to tutor are Business and Law, partly because of my passion for those fields, but mostly, and also because working with students and empowering them to bring change on their own, is a super cool thing to do!
Throughout my own experience as a student, tutoring study groups, my 13-year-old sister, and business, I've learned that everyone studies and learns differently. I appreciate those differences and ensure that my teaching style is tailor-made to everyone's style. Ultimately then, my philosophy isn't to help you memorize concepts; it's to help you learn, relate, implement and have fun while doing it!

I enjoy writing, traveling, watching movies and shows without sound, and coming up with my own commentary for the actors (works alone or with friends). I do also enjoy thrill-seeking activities (think theme parks/water parks/outdoor activities)
