LaToya Nicole
Certified Tutor
I am passionate about fostering student success through personalized tutoring, leveraging over two years of experience in subjects such as English, Algebra, History, and Social Studies. I hold a Master of Science in Criminal Justice from Grambling State University and a Bachelor of Business Administration with a minor in Management/Marketing from the University of Louisiana at Monroe. These academic achievements provide me with a strong foundation to enrich my teaching and connect academic knowledge to real-world applications.
My approach centers on integrating students' interests into lessons, creating engaging and relevant learning experiences that make challenging material more approachable. I aim to empower students to overcome academic obstacles, strengthen their confidence, and develop a lifelong love for learning.
In addition, my active participation in organizations such as the Future Business Leaders of America, the National BETA Club, and the Graduate Student Association has refined my leadership and communication skills, enhancing my ability to mentor and inspire students. Ultimately, my goal is to equip students with the tools they need to reach their full potential and achieve success both in and out of the classroom.
