I graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor's Degree in Philosophy before then graduating from Creighton University's School of Law. I am passionate about teaching because of the unusual path I took to academia.
I left high school in 9th grade and didn't return until my early 20's. However, upon returning, I hit the ground running and never looked back.
After graduating from Creighton Law, I received my Divorce Mediator certification, attended both the State and Federal Tax schools offered through the State of Iowa, and passed my Securities Industry Essentials examinations.
I am a lifelong learner and am dedicated to being the best student, teacher, and mentor. I'm a father to three boys, and teaching my sons the path to success is my greatest job.

I'm an active volunteer in my neighborhood association and am always looking to be helpful. Whether it's the Youth Garden, local sports programs, planning community events, or cleaning up my neighborhood, you can find me lending a helping hand. I'm also a Den Leader for one of my son's Scout Troop and love everything outdoors. I grew up playing upright bass and cello before then transitioning to bass guitar. As a teenager and young adult, I beatboxed competitively and also taught private lessons. I'm a fan of drumkit beatbox but I enjoy and practice turntable-style as well. I enjoy many forms of poetry and have been writing since I can first remember. Poetry is a big part of my life and I encourage everyone to give it a try! Music and art are ever present in my life and I am always excited to discover new artists. Maintaining my physical health, mental health, and emotional health is also a large focus of my life. Every day is new opportunity to do, feel, and act better, and I couldn't be more excited for the opportunity!
