My name is Grace and I look forward to helping you on your goals of learning! As a middle schooler I helped younger kids in robotics, from assisting in programming camps to helping at tournaments. I always enjoyed seeing the kids be more excited as they learned. In addition to school, I am also a black belt in Taekwondo. While working toward my own goals, I mentored the lower belts and helped them better understand and practice techniques. Currently I am a Junior, working toward a degree in Video Game Design to one day become an independent game designer. My goal is to create video games that help others better understand and manage mental health. To further that goal I am also minoring in Computer Science. Throughout my college courses I have helped many students to better understand/explain the course content. I try to get to know the person and then put new terms or information into words that are more understandable for them. I am patient, organized, and encouraging to help students get to their goals. I try to adjust to each person's different learning habits. I look forward to meeting and helping you on your learning journey!

Hobbies

When I'm not working on school work, I enjoy playing video games, listening/making music, and working out. Some of my favorite games are Minecraft and Skyrim, but I have played many more genres as well. I have always had a passion for music and started playing Piano when I was 7, then I ended up playing multiple percussion instruments for high school. I also learned bass and acoustic guitar. I enjoy working out or going hiking, as long as it's a nice day. I recently got more into 3D modeling using Maya as well as writing songs or lyrics.
