Hello! I am a First Class Honours Physics and Astronomy graduate of the University of Hong Kong, rank 31st university in Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2023. I am currently a Tutor of Physics for high school students. I became a tutor because I want to provide students with an effective way to understand the critical concept and tricks to prepare for exams.

I treat every student with a different strategy according to their weakness and the student's goals. I usually spend most of my first lesson communicating with students and creating what I call a 'student profile'. This includes the style of learning that students want to have in the lesson(more on the knowledge side or practice more questions), what concept in physics students feel particularly difficult to understand and most importantly the math ability of students. Most of the time, physics questions require some mathematical trick to solve, identifying the math ability can dramatically help me the efficiency of improving students' academic ability. Also, 'student profile' allows me to create a long-term plan for regular lessons and individual lesson plans tailored to the student. I use a range of teaching styles including presentations, quizzes and place an emphasis on interactive learning.
