Certified Tutor
I am a second-year student majoring in Political Science and minoring in Economics at St. Francis Xavier University. I came to Canada at age seven and saw the struggles my parents went through as immigrants, which inspired me to help the transition process for other immigrants smoother by providing them top-quality ESL or FSL tutoring. I have worked with numerous clients, and have experience preparing students for the TEF, the TCF, and CELPIP. In addition to French and English, I love tutoring in the humanities (history, social studies, political science, economics), and am obsessed with monetary policy. In my free time, I enjoy reading about Catholic theology, spending time with my family, and ballet. I believe that tutoring needs to be tailored to the student and their specific needs. I think it needs to reflect the student's goals. I am all for having fun while learning - however, I also believe that it is most fun, or rewarding, for the student when they are making tangible progress, and that is what I am for in my classes.
