I am passionate about helping students because I believe in the power of education and the importance of assisting others in navigating this complex world. The joy I receive from teaching and serving others is immeasurable. Throughout my academic journey, I have had the opportunity to tutor many students, especially friends and classmates, in various subjects we were studying together.
I graduated from East Paulding High School in 2020, and I am currently a Junior at Kennesaw State University. I am diligently working towards my bachelor's degree in political science, with minors in Spanish and international relations.
As a tutor, I cover a range of subjects, including English, Spanish, and Social Sciences/Humanities (such as Political Science, Philosophy, History, and Sociology). While I enjoy tutoring all subjects, I find a special affinity for guiding students in writing and across different subject matters (i.e. writing for English or political science). Witnessing the magic of helping individuals express their thoughts and ideas on paper is immensely rewarding.
In my teaching philosophy, I believe in meeting students where they are in their learning journey while gently pushing them forward. I also incorporate mindfulness into study strategies and sessions to help students mentally declutter, allowing fertile ground for cultivating new ideas and understandings.
Outside of academia, I lead a vibrant life. I am an avid yogi and a passionate writer. Music, animals, cooking, and helping others are some of my other interests that bring fulfilment to my life beyond the classroom.
