Through my A-levels, I am developing a critical thinking and analytical mindset allowing me to understand both sides of an argument. In Economics, I enjoy debating life-changing issues such as the current rise in energy bills, arguing for and against different solutions. I believe that developing these skills not only prepares me for further academic study but will also be valuable for my intended career as a prosecutor. Studying English improves my writing and interpretation skills enhancing my ability to produce well-structured and clear essays as well as understand legal texts in breadth and depth. This is evident in my EPQ on UK euthanasia laws which also developed my skills processing information to evaluate both sides of my question with firm evidence and references. Law is improving my reasoning and analysis skills when presenting a case in a legal atmosphere. In situations presented to me it is critical I can identify when the law will support my arguments especially with my future career as a CPS worker. I am able to adapt my skills to be able to support my future clients by forming detailed counterarguments to support their claims.

Degree: University of Worcester - Bachelor, Law
I've enjoyed reading books such as Landmarks in Law and The Secret Barrister which have introduced me to a range of intriguing cases and legal controversies informing me more deeply about the underlying principles of the legal system. The wider reading that I am doing is developing my legal knowledge and awareness. I am ambitious to become a Crown Prosecutor and developing my knowledge through university will allow me to experience the legal system in practice.
