I am a highly experienced Physicist with over 17 years professional experience in physics, astrophysics, nuclear physics, radiation protection, space science and university lecturing. I have worked and lectured in Europe, Australia and North America.
I hold a Masters in Physics with Astrophysics from the University of Kent at Canterbury, and I am also writing up my thesis for a PhD in Space Engineering; researching the effects of space weather on 'near space' flight. I am a Chartered Physicist and Engineer, a member of the Canadian Association of Physicists and a committee member of the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada, as well as a member of the Canadian and American Nuclear Societies.
I have spent over a decade lecturing and helping students with physics. I've given lectures on atomic and nuclear physics, nuclear safety and nuclear disasters. Further, I've given lectures and talks on astrophysics and space engineering. I've also spent over 5 years being a STEM ambassador for high school students talking to them about physics and associated careers.
I tutor in astrophysics, physics, nuclear physics, space and science. I am a highly dedicated tutor with a profound passion for unravelling the mysteries of physics. I'm committed to instilling that same enthusiasm in my students, making the learning experience not only educational but also fun!
Please reach out / get in touch and let me know your learning requirements and how I can help you with your physics tutoring. I'm here to guide you in your learning and most importantly make it fun.

Outside of work I'm a keen astronomer, during the day I use a hydrogen alpha telescope to image solar activity and in the night I use the local observatory to image planets and deep sky objects. I also regularly fly radiation detectors with commercial and private aircraft to monitor solar output, whilst liaising with worldwide spaceports and flight operators on space weather conditions. I'm a big sci-fi fan, but also like hiking, camping and snowboarding in the mountains.
