Certified Tutor

I am Mustafa Mirza, a 1b student at the University of Waterloo, pursuing a degree in Accounting & Financial Management. Originally from Pakistan, I am determined to build my career in financial services here in North America. My academic track record reflects my dedication, having secured a 4.0 GPA in high school and maintaining a 3.9 GPA at Waterloo.

My professional journey includes roles such as a volunteer tax filer at the UW AFSA tax clinic, an accounting intern at Britlite Engineering, and Earth Gold Private Limited. These experiences have equipped me with critical and technical skills directly relevant to the subject matters that I offer to teach. I have gained proficiency in accounting, finance, math, and economics along with hands-on experience in operating accounting and ERP software. Participating in client meetings has improved my ability to work collaboratively and share valuable insights based on my knowledge and experiences in the field.

I am excited about the opportunity to teach a group of students, as I am passionate about passing down my knowledge to students willing to learn which aligns perfectly with my expertise and professional aspirations. My interest in tutoring stems from my past experiences as a home tutor of small groups, where I successfully helped students receive good grades in examinations of their subjects. I believe that my unique skill set and passion for tutoring will contribute significantly to creating a collaborative and supportive study environment for students.
