Certified Tutor

I firmly believe that each person has their own way of learning and should receive specialized assistance in all aspects of education and beyond. I have been tutoring since I was 13 years old and over time my commitment to helping others has grown. During the pandemic I had the chance to expand this dedication on an international level by volunteering through schoolhouse.world, a program where I could assist students from all around the globe. This experience not only allowed me to make connections but also helped me contribute academically to children during a challenging time.

As a second-year student at Clemson University studying Genetics with a minor in Spanish, I understand the obstacles that students encounter since I was recently in their shoes. I provide tutoring across subjects such as reading and mathematics for middle and elementary school children, as well as Spanish and high school pre-algebra and algebra. Teaching math and languages brings me the most joy as it enables me to interact with students through self-made problems and tasks that enrich their educational journey. I focus on establishing goals and aspirations to guarantee that every student not only enhances their skills but also thrives in their learning journey.

Even though I'm still currently in college, my past as a high school student gives me perspective on the academic challenges students encounter today. I sympathize with their difficulties because I went through them myself not long ago and this similarity in age helps me relate to my students on a more personal level. Besides tutoring, I love reading, baking, and traveling.
