As a passionate educator with a Bachelor's in History from the University of Guelph and a Graduate Diploma in Curatorial Studies from Carleton University, I bring over two years of experience supporting student learning through educational programs, museum exhibits, and community outreach.
My areas of focus include History, English, Social Sciences, and Curatorial Studies. In each subject, I emphasize the importance of contextual understanding, critical thinking, and engagement with diverse perspectives. I aim to create an interactive and encouraging learning environment where students feel confident asking questions and making connections between the past and the present.
Through my work curating exhibits including those on L.M. Montgomery, Shirley Bear, and Canadian transportation history and volunteering in libraries, I've developed a talent for making complex information approachable and compelling.
I'm committed to helping students grow academically and personally, and I find great joy in guiding them as they explore the stories that shape our world.
