There are 31 questions in the Quantitative Reasoning section. It consists of questions related to data sufficiency and problem-solving. A Varsity Tutors educational consultant can set you up with GMAT prep classes or individual tutoring. You even have the choice to engage in both of these programs if you wish. Read on to learn about how each one can help you reach for your goals.
If you enjoy studying and working on school projects with other students, then you may like partaking in a Philadelphia GMAT prep class. It mimics a classroom setting except that all lessons are online. You can speak with other students and a teacher via computer from anywhere with a stable Internet connection. These classes are held regularly, and you can sign up for a two-week or a four-week class. During the GMAT prep sessions, you and your fellow students work together in activities and discussions to study for the exam. For instance, you can practice your essay-writing skills with sample prompts. If you want to strengthen your reading comprehension skills for the Verbal Reasoning section, you can review sample reading passages. You can even share tips on how to ease test jitters if you or other students become anxious about test day. This program also lets you have personal instruction with the teacher if you want extra assistance with certain sections of the GMAT.
Do you prefer tutoring sessions? We can connect you with someone who has the proper set of knowledge and private teaching experience. Because you're a mentor's only student during each session, you may find that you have an easier time concentrating on your studies. An educator can help you try to better understand a subject. For example, if you're confused about the concepts behind the Integrated Reasoning section, an instructor can explain them to you by breaking them down into smaller chunks while conducting the lesson at a slower speed. They can also read something out loud or provide visual aids depending on your individual learning style. If you want to build effective study skills, you can ask an instructor for some advice. Do you tend to push yourself in your studies? A private educator can suggest that you schedule short breaks in between. Perhaps you want to put an end to procrastination. An instructor can help you with organization and motivation skills. For instance, you could create a to-do list to try to stay on track. A private teacher wants you to do your best and is willing to assist you in any way you ask.

I believe in making the session fun and student-driven - but also quickly finding any underlining problems with comprehension and addressing them.
