About Me
I then went on to obtain two masters degrees in economics. I love economics because it is a smart combination of statistical rigor and humanity. I also was an economics Ph.D. student in University of California, Davis studying theoretical microeconomics and econometrics for 3 years before I dropped out in 2019.I realized that what I love the most is applying knowledge to solve real world problems and help other people understand things. I still love economics but I am much more into applying statistics, econometrics, and programming to solve real problems. I fell in love with teaching during my Ph.D. years. I love to see how students can really understand things if they find the right way -- the right people or the right recourses -- to learn from. I want to be students' right kind of way to learn! I strive to try my best to use what I know to help students solve problems and understand things with more clarity. I firmly believe that seeing things from different perspectives is the fastest way to gain real understanding.
