LSAT Tutoring review by Kathryn in Cambridge
This session the student only missed four questions on the practice logical reasoning section she took in the specific timed method we've been using. We went over the few questions that she missed, and then jumped straight into working on logical reasoning questions together. We continued in our similar fashion - I gave her 1.5 min to answer each question and then we would go over them together.

The student and I continued working through logical reasoning theory, specifically on principle and parallel reasoning problems. We also worked through a logic game problem and discussed her study schedule.

LSAT Tutoring review by Matthew in Cambridge
The student did three sections of an LSAT in preparation for this session. We went over all the problems she missed. She had a hard time in the games section, which I attribute mostly to failing to properly diagram a couple of the games. When we discussed how to diagram those games and use the diagrams to eliminate answer choices, she got almost every answer correct. She also noted that she may have misread a condition, which threw her off for several questions. She did quite well on the logical reasoning sections, missing only a few problems. Again, we focused on properly identifying the conclusions and focusing on key terms. We discussed the difference between necessary/sufficient conditions and correlation vs. causation. To finish the session we went over most of prep test A from the LSAT prep book. Again, the student got nearly all the questions right. She is on pace to dominate the logical reasoning sections when she retakes the LSAT in February.

LSAT Tutoring review by Jared in Cambridge
The student and I talked about his learning goals for the tutoring sessions and for his law school pursuit in general. He decided that he should push back his test date until June in order to prepare better. We talked about a study plan and he is a quick learner. I think he should meet his test score goal, assuming that he puts in the amount of personal study that is necessary to do so.

LSAT Tutoring review by Jesse in Cambridge
The student and I reviewed some grouping games and fixed a few bad habits before they took root. We did a reading comp passage together, concentrating on what to read for and how to thoroughly and efficiently diagram passages to minimize re-reading (which eats time!). We practiced a timed LG and RC, and will do a full length PT soon. We will start LR next session.
