Certified Tutor

I graduated from the University of California Berkeley in 2013 with a degree in Integrative Biology. In addition, I have also received a Masters in Biomedical Science from the Tufts School of Medicine this past summer. Since graduation, I have been applying to medical schools around the country and my hope is to one day work as a surgeon. I am knowledgeable in a vast range of subjects related to math and science but the subjects I love the most are anything related to biology, especially human physiology. The human body performs amazing feats every day in order to keep us alive and to help us heal when we are injured. Everyday scientists learn something new about the body which is why I love physiology. In addition, I reviewed for the MCAT by myself with my own exceptional strategies and so I am very comfortable helping students with every section of the test. When I tutor, I tailor my teaching style so that I can pinpoint the exact misunderstanding my student has with the concepts/material they are trying to learn. This style makes me an efficient and effective tutor. I am a huge NBA fan and I also love to choreograph hip-hop dance during my downtime. Playing a little video games during one’s free time also does not hurt =).
