As a rising fourth-year Environmental Earth Science major at university, I am passionate about helping students discover their potential and develop a love for learning. At 21 years old, I understand the importance of pacing in education and the unique learning journey each student embarks on. I believe that fostering a supportive and flexible learning environment is key to academic success and personal growth.

My approach to tutoring is centered on encouraging students to work at their own pace, allowing them to fully grasp concepts before moving forward. I strive to create an atmosphere where students feel comfortable bringing their interests and curiosities to the table, which I will eagerly explore alongside them. This personalized approach not only helps in understanding the material better but also makes learning an enjoyable and engaging experience.

Outside of tutoring, I spend my time teaching swim lessons at the local pool. This experience has honed my patience, communication skills, and ability to connect with individuals of all ages and backgrounds. It has taught me the value of perseverance and the joy of watching others achieve their goals.

Hobbies

I am an avid reader and love immersing myself in different worlds through books. Hiking is one of my favorite pastimes, allowing me to connect with nature and explore new trails. Swimming is another passion of mine, which I enjoy both recreationally and through teaching swim lessons. Growing up, I spent a lot of time horseback riding, a hobby that has instilled in me a deep appreciation for animals and the outdoors. Currently, I play rugby with my university team (go Saints!), which has taught me the value of teamwork and resilience. Traveling is another significant interest of mine. I relish the opportunity to learn about new cultures and languages, broadening my understanding of the world and enriching my experiences.
