Explanation:

For any percent \(\displaystyle \small n \%\) we can write it as a fraction in the form \(\displaystyle \small \frac{n}{100}\)

So we can write \(\displaystyle \small 84 \%\) as \(\displaystyle \small \frac{84}{100}\)

 

Then we simplify

\(\displaystyle \small \frac{84}{100} = \frac{42}{50} = \frac{21}{25}\)

So our simplified answer is \(\displaystyle \small \frac{21}{25}\)
