I am a trained STEM tutor with a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Clemson University. Specializing in physics, math and chemistry, I have a passion for understanding these topics that I hope to pass on to your student.

I'm not tutoring or buried in my textbooks, you will either find me rock climbing at the Triangle Rock Club, playing Ultimate Frisbee, working on my car, or enjoying the great outdoors (beaches, mountains, forests--you name it, I love it). On rainy weekends I enjoy tinkering with computers and old electronics, playing Pokemon, or picking at my guitar.

I am a rising senior at Duke University. I major in Computer Science and am also getting a minor in Physics. I have had experience tutoring/teaching as a teaching assistant for three classes: Intro to Databases, Electricity and Magnetism (for engineers), and Computer Network Architecture. I have had industry experience in software development as an intern for IBM and a cybersecurity analyst for TIAA. Outside of school/work, I play the piano and train with the Duke Taekwondo Club. I have a strong background in computer science, physics, and math, but I love learning about and helping students with a wide variety of subjects!

I am currently in my fourth year of medical school at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. Learning science is my passion, but I also enjoy running, trying new food, and reading classic books. I would love to be part of your journey by helping you love mastering the task at hand. I am passionate about biomedical engineering, and am endlessly amazed by intricacies of the world around us. My degrees are in engineering (BS-General Engineering from Harvey Mudd, MS- Mechanical Engineering, and PhD-Bioengineering from Georgia Tech), but I also love art and literature and linguistics. Outside of academics, I am an avid sports fan (and rugby player) and I love to cook, hike with my dog, and travel.

I am rising junior at Duke University studying biomedical engineering and mathematics. Since junior year of high school I have really enjoyed tutoring students. I have been fortunate to tutor students of many ages, ranging from freshman in high school to juniors in college. I am most passionate about mathematics, engineering, and anything STEM essentially. I really believe that the reason students don't like these subjects is because they have had a rough initial experience studying these topics. I believe that with the right guidance and tutoring, everyone can appreciate STEM and understand why it is so crucial in our daily lives. I am pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Arts in Physics. I primarily tutor physics and math subjects. I especially love tutoring physics because it is an opportunity to make sense of the physical world surrounding us through mathematical relationships. Many students have difficulty with physics at first because it introduces new methods of thinking, so I love trying to help students reach that "click" moment where everything comes together. The actual calculations of physics problems may be daunting, but I aim to strengthen fundamental concepts during my tutoring sessions so that students feel confident to tackle difficult problems on AP and other standardized tests. Outside of my academic pursuits, I love music production, sound design, and song writing.

I am a graduate of Duke University with a dual Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering and Economics. I started tutoring in high school, working with Spanish-speaking ESL students in their native language as volunteer service. Due to my exceptional academic performance, family friends and members of my local church would often ask me to tutor their children, a request I would grant as much as my schedule allowed. My professional experience with tutoring only began in college, when I was hired as a teaching assistant for the Duke TIP summer program. After graduation, I worked for an international test prep company for two years. In addition to teaching classes on the SAT, ACT, and SAT II Subject Tests, I also provided private tutoring services in high school-level math, statistics, and physics.

I am an undergraduate engineering student at North Carolina University, I plan on double majoring in Electrical and Computer Engineering. I love math; the logic and problem solving involved in the subject makes this my favorite subject to tutor. Similarly, I also enjoy physics because this subject is like a puzzle, and I enjoy breaking a problem down into its components. I tutor math up to Calculus 3 and Physics from High School Physics 1 and AP Physics to College level physics.

I'm a graduate of the School of Engineering at Virginia Commonwealth University (2015). I have a Bachelor's of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering, and am pursuing a Masters Degree in Business Administration from the VCU School of Business. I am current master's student pursuing an advanced degree in environmental engineering. I have about 3 years of experience tutoring a standard math and science curricula to students ranging in age from 7-17. I attended college at Washington University in St. Louis receiving a degree in mechanical engineering and energy engineering in 2020. During my time there, I worked as a teaching assistant for several different engineering courses, tutoring students outside of class in the calculus and physics related topics. I am an aspiring applied mathematician, with particular interest in image processing and climate science. I graduated in May 2017 from Washington University in St. Louis with a bachelor's in physics and mathematics, and am beginning a PhD program in September 2017 at the University of Chicago in Computational and Applied Mathematics. I've tutored introductory physics students for three years and enjoyed it thoroughly, as a chance to help other students while revisiting fundamental concepts to enhance my own knowledge. I'm eager to continue reaching out and helping students of math and physics to succeed and, furthermore, to appreciate the beauty and power of these subjects.

I am also adept in tutoring english grammar, language, and literature. There are few things I enjoy more than a true challenge, whether it be physical or mental. I aspire to be a great inventor and hope that my ideas and creations may simplify life as we know it and bring health, comfort, and joy to the masses. My favorite book is "Good Omens" by Neil Gaiman & Terry Pratchett and I recommend that everyone read promptly.
