How much does Varsity Tutors cost for students in Peachtree City?

The cost of tutoring for students in Peachtree City relies on a few contributing factors. One variable is the kind of expertise you need in an instructor.

For instance, someone who wants some reading comprehension support for their student in grade school might be quoted one amount while someone looking for college-level writing instruction could be quoted a different price. It also matters how many sessions you're hoping to sign on for. A student who needs a few months of regular tutoring for their MCAT prep might pay less than someone who wants a few weeks of cramming before exam day. Our Educational Directors can offer more clarity on your expected costs.

Which tutoring subjects does Varsity Tutors offer for students in Peachtree City?

When you sign up for tutoring for students in Peachtree City, you don't need to worry about whether we can set you up with an appropriate match. From reading R. L.

Those who enjoy art could find sessions related to art history, for example, to be as informative as they are enjoyable.

Why choose Varsity Tutors for tutoring in Peachtree City?

We looked at the student's workbooks both for Math and ELA prep. We also drilled long-division and triple-digit multiplication, which she picked up very quickly. I ultimately think that her reluctance to do the long-division and multiplication was just a lack of confidence, and when she saw how easily she was doing it, she mastered the concepts with ease. She makes the math problems more difficult than they need to be, and I think would benefit from fully reading through the problems and grasping what the problem is asking before beginning to solve. Her reading comprehension skills are excellent, and she makes very insightful observations on character development, plot points, development of story, and setting. Her answers are always very concise, and she uses good textual examples to support her points.

We looked at homework on applications of linear systems and worked some additional problems. The student has another one of these to do. We also started talking about graphing inequalities. We reviewed how to solve equations with inequalities. He will practice graphing some, and we'll talk more about that next time.

Tutoring review by Avideh in Peachtree City, GA
During this session the student completed her spelling homework and did some reading to prepare for her reading log. In the spelling assignment, she had to match the words with synonyms, and decide which ones were spelled incorrectly. She did great with this homework, and it was an effective way to have her practice spelling the words for the week. Afterwards, I quizzed her on about twenty words-I read them out loud and she spelled them. For the ones she spelled wrong, we went over them together. For the last 15 minutes of the session, we read together to prepare ideas for her upcoming reading log assignment.

Tutoring review by Eunki in Peachtree City, GA
The student and I reviewed questions he had from previous lesson's practice questions. Once we reviewed that, we proceeded to cover systems of linear equations as well as methods to solve them - elimination and substitution. He didn't show any sign of having trouble understanding the two approaches or the conceptual framework of systems of equations. Lastly, we also began work on understanding exponents and their associated rules/operations such as the product rule, quotient rule, power rule, negative exponent rule, power product rule, and power quotient rule. All of these were relatively straightforward to understand, and he had little trouble getting through these lessons. All in all, there wasn't much that posed difficulties for him today.
