I am passionate about math and science related subjects. These are the languages of the universe. As a student who has struggled to learn these topics myself and ultimately found I have a good understanding of these subjects, I enjoy getting other people excited by teaching them in the simplest terms possible.

I am a retired teacher who loves teaching math. I taught 30 years in the local high school in Algebra I, Algebra II, Trigonometry, and Calculus. I have tutored many students over my 30 year career.

...pre-med college courses. I enjoy helping students with chemistry and biology subjects the most, because they are the beginning to understanding the world around us. My tutoring style is highly tailored to the needs of the student. I spend time running over practice problems or dialoging over the subject until the student obtains the confidence needed to succeed. I do paintball and various board games in my spare time and with friends.

I have worked as a tutor for the University of Tulsa since 2011, helping students with college level math and engineering courses including Calculus, Physics, and Statics. I like to let students set the pace for their sessions and offer suggestions or guidance with coursework as needed when needed, but am open to preparing more detailed lessons as required.

I seek to make a difference in all that I do. Educating students gives me the opportunity to increase student achievement and therefore make a difference in the lives of students. I am a man of God that seeks the best for the students that I am in contact.
