Tutoring review by Kevin in Lakeland, TN
Today we went over linear and nonlinear systems of equations and two variable linear systems. The student had a positive attitude and seemed eager to learn the material. The student should begin to review for her final exam: she should start to look over her previous exams and see the areas she needs to improve, look over old homework problems, cumulative exam reviews, and the final exam review which her professor has posted.

Tutoring review by David in Lakeland, TN
We covered the connection between the unit circle and the graphs of sine and cosine. We discussed shifts, expansions, amplitude, and period. The number one thing that could improve her grades would be daily practice, even as little as 10 minutes per day of practice problems.

Tutoring review by Connor in Lakeland, TN
We covered math, verbal skills, and critical reading. The student has an impressive vocabulary and a natural affinity for analyzing passages, but struggles somewhat with algebra and geometry. I believe that the shorter sessions have helped her concentration, as she appeared to be more energetic in these meetings. To aid in her ability to recall various algebraic operations, I walked through processes like distribution and factoring on the work board. She seems to have improved in all areas since our first session.

Tutoring review by Evan in Lakeland, TN
The student and I had a very productive session. We practiced solving logarithmic and exponential equations, using both log and exponent rules to do each. After I explained the concepts to her and reviewed some of the key rules, she quickly began solving problems on her own or with minimal coaching. We then went over some of her homework problems, as well as past homework problems on which she was still uncertain. The last part of the session was spent reviewing for Friday's exam. She seems much more confident in her ability to solve log- and exponent-related problems independently.

Tutoring review by Kimberly in Lakeland, TN
The student and I began our session by completing his History homework. We discussed the fact that he could study while completing his homework if he stops after each paragraph and highlights the key points. After history, we studied for his Bible Study test. We did oral Q&A and engaged in open discussions about each topic and the learning concepts associated with the Bible verses. In the future, we will spend more time preparing for his tests.
