I have a B.A. in History from Georgia State University and taught my own four children via a home school curriculum, as we traveled the world for my previous job. Additionally, I taught at a school for gifted and above average students in Indiana. My courses included Algebra, History, Geography, Economics, and Personal Finance. I tutor Math, History, Reading, Writing and a few other subjects; however, my favorite subject to tutor is math. It is also the one subject where, I feel, a good tutor/teacher can impact a student's performance the most. I believe learning should be fun. If you aren't having fun, you're doing it wrong. I like to laugh and do it often. I have always tested well, particularly in math, but I am not bookish, stale, or boring. I have four children - all teenagers! So I am a little crazy; however, I have developed a large amount of patience.

Chess, tennis, golf. Did I mention I was on Jeopardy!? It's true. I love trivia, but I also play tennis and chess. My kids even got me to play Minecraft! It really helps students learn factors and multiples of 64. I'm also a big movie buff.
