Tutoring review by Laura in Phillipsburg, NJ
Tonight, the student and I worked on his math homework. We worked on a wide array of topics, including solving for an unknown number, prime factorization, exponents, multiplying fractions, and measuring angles. He did really well with solving for an unknown number and geometry. I found out that he got an 84 on his test last week, which is good - he got an 82 on the one before that.

The student did really great this session! We spent 90 minutes on logic games, working specifically on grouping games. He is at the point where he gets it completely and is really fast or has trouble with the setup. We spent the last half hour on LR, which he's great at. Next session we'll work on logic games and spend half an hour talking strategy for RC.

Tutoring review by Jerilynn in Phillipsburg, NJ
We focused on going through conceptual problems for two dimensional motion, including projectiles and rotational motion. We looked at the relationship between velocity and acceleration in both the x- and y-directions for various projectiles. We also compared acceleration in one- and two-dimensions and saw how changing directions increases the acceleration of an object in addition to any change in its speed. The student is doing well sketching velocity and acceleration graphs for various projectiles moving both horizontally and vertically. I left a set of AP practice problems for kinematics that she can use as additional review for the upcoming test on two-dimensional motion.
