Tutoring review by Neil in Garwood, NJ
The student brought a review sheet in preparation for her upcoming exam on Thursday. We did a lot of the problems together and reviewed concepts that were essential to her knowledge. She seemed very confident in her ability to solve the problems involving imaginary numbers. She also did well with her comprehension of basic trigonometry. She has the rest of the review sheet to do, but I'm sure that she will master the rest of the material based on her previous work.

We discussed and derived the midpoint and distance formulas. We also discussed the converse, contrapositive, and negation of a conditional statement along with biconditional statements. His attitude was excellent, and I look forward to continuing our work together.

Tutoring review by Bill in Garwood, NJ
The student and I covered topics from his homework assignment and test review material, including but not limited to: creating lines that intersect at the same point in point intercept form; describing positive slopes, negative slopes, zero slopes, and undefined slopes; applications of linear functions; defining variables; and plotting the graphs of those linear functions; 2-dimensional plane geometry; and corresponding congruent triangles. The student was very cooperative throughout the session. He worked diligently at trying to solve the problems independently.

Tutoring review by Michael in Garwood, NJ
We reviewed concepts in bonding and orbitals in preparation for an upcoming unit test. We first covered questions from a review worksheet. The student displayed an overall strong understanding of core concepts, so we focused on particularly difficult problems. We tackled many of the concepts previously covered, such as calculating bond enthalpies, identifying electron/molecular geometry for atoms, and drawing resonance structures. Compared to past sessions, she displayed excellent independence and was quick to self-correct when prompted to do so. I did elaborate on certain topics that were less emphasized previously, such as bond order and relationships between bond length, bond energy, and attraction. Finishing her worksheet, we then proceeded to review practice problems from her AP chemistry test prep textbook, as well as some sample problems I found online.
