I am currently a prospective Computer Science Major at New York University. I am aiming for a 5 year bachelor's/master's degree in the College of Arts and Sciences. I am a junior at NYU Tisch. I am a Drama major while also minoring in Art History. I have been working in education consistently since high school and am very passionate about it. I attended a Montessori school as a child and one of the most important things I gained from that experience was a sense of ownership over my own learning. I'm passionate about guiding students in the world of philosophy and the humanities more broadly. With 7 years of teaching experience at the college level and many years of tutoring outside of college, I know what it's like to be stuck and lost in navigating difficult concepts. I believe in guiding students in incremental and simple steps to more challenging material, and that every student can be successful.

As a dedicated tutor with a Bachelor's in Applied Psychology and Public Policy from NYU, and currently pursuing a Master's in Public Administration at NYU Wagner, I am passionate about helping students build confidence and clarity not just in their academic material, but also in themselves. With over two years of experience working with diverse learners in both classroom and one-on-one settings, I specialize in subjects such as AP Psychology, AP U.S. Government & Politics, and writing comprehension. My teaching philosophy is centered around understanding each student's unique strengths and stressors, allowing me to tailor my approach to their individual learning styles. I employ real-world applications and active learning strategies, encouraging students to connect complex concepts to their lives. I believe that education should be engaging and relevant, and I am excited to support students on their journeys toward academic success while fostering their curiosity and independence. Outside of tutoring, I love creative writing, cooking new recipes, and exploring NYC's neighborhoods. I'm passionate about mental health advocacy and often volunteer with youth-focused programs. I also enjoy hiking when I'm home in Colorado, playing with my dog, and discovering cozy coffee shops to read in.
