I view teaching as an opportunity to make learning joyful and meaningful. I design lessons that spark laughter, creativity, and connection, because students learn best when they feel comfortable and inspired. By meeting learners where they are and encouraging them to trust their abilities, I help them develop confidence that extends far beyond the classroom.

Everyone learns differently. My goal is to find out how my students learn best so that I can help them success. Knowing the material, even if very well, is not enough to be a good tutor. I will make my best effort to coach my students so that they can figure out the way in which they learn best and I will adapt my teaching style to each student's needs. I will help them set tangible goals that they can work towards so that they can achieve success and I will be there to help them along the way.About me:I am currently a junior at the University of Central Florida where I am pursuing a degree in economics. I went to high school in Miami, Fl, and before that I lived and studied abroad. In the past I have been a middle school math tutor with Mu Alpha Theta and have been offered tutor positions by the Student Academic Resource Center at UCF. I tutor Economics (both macro and micro), U.S Government and Politics, U.S. History, and Spanish (native speaker. I can help students prepare for the advanced placement tests in all of these subjects. I also help students prepare for college readiness assisting with applications, essays, and SAT critical reading and writing. In my spare time I am a member of the UCF Western Equestrian Team, where I compete in horsemanship competitions, and I am an avid guitar player. I am also very passionate about traveling.My favorite part of tutoring is seeing my students setting up goals and being able to accomplish them. If I had to pick my favorite subjects to tutor they would be U.S.History and U.S. government. So much in fact, that I read books about these subjects just for pleasure. Nonetheless, I am very proficient in all the other subjects that I tutor as well.

I am a current Game Design Major at the University of Central Florida, with a minor in Creative Writing and certificate in German language. I was very involved in my high school's honor societies and band program, and through these have taught many students, be it in music or academics. I have also worked as a Graphic Designer, both for volunteer work as well as paid gigs, and have proficiency in Photoshop and Illustrator. Likewise, I have studied writing since high school and was the Editor-in-Chief for Valencia College's Phoenix Magazine, in which I wrote, edited, and revised work. I have often used the above opportunities to mentor people before, and find it exciting to pass on whatever tips and tricks I've learned along the way, as well as bond with others in a shared subject.

I am a student at the University of Central Florida. I have studied Accounting, Engineering and Health Science. I'm excited to graduate in December 2023. I have had internships in Accounting and Industrial Engineering in both Orlando, Florida and Los Angeles, California. I have spent time tutoring high-school students with English as a second language in math. I have also tutored college students in Financial Accounting, Chemistry, and Excel. While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about Science, Mathematics, and Excel.

I received my Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from Full Sail University. I am a student of the University of Central Florida currently working on a PhD in Digital Media. I earned my degrees at Miami Dade Honors College and the University of Central Florida, one in computer science and the other in math education, respectively.I have been tutoring for 14 years in various subjects, but I am most strong in mathematics.
