I am passionate about helping students unlock the full potential of Excel and gain confidence with data, formulas, and analysis. My approach is to break down complex concepts into clear, manageable steps. Fluent in English, French, and Arabic, I bring patience, real-world examples, and a supportive, encouraging approach to every lesson. What excites me most is seeing students grow in confidence, take ownership of their learning, and develop skills they can use immediately.

Salutations and Greetings,My name is Kevin Yeo and most folks address me as Kevin. I was working as an instructor last year at a small, private grade school to 12th grade which used both online and tradition classes. I have retired and now enjoy attending baseball games and helping a few select students. My career has primarily been comprised in three areas. The Marine Corps for twenty-one years where I taught and led, then I started and ran a Hunting lodge for a couple years and finally served as a police officer in a small town for seven years. These last year's my family has moved to Florida where I have held various part time positions and attended Webster University. At Webster University I have continued my education by earning master's degrees in Human Resources Management and Management Leadership. I also recently attained a Certification in On line Teaching.Sincerely,Kevin

I am a graduate of Webster University, where I received my Masters in Marketing. While studying at Webster, I was a substitute teacher for the Hickman Mills School District, grades K-8th. During my entire college career, I have always had a job working with kids. After graduation, I always tried to make sure that I still had an opportunity to work with kids on the enhancement of their education and tutoring became a great way to do so. I have now been a tutor for 8 years, and I have loved every minute of it. Knowing that you can make a difference educationally in a small child's life means a lot.

I'm a relationship-first educator who helps students feel seen, capable, and clear on what to do next. As a Career and Technical Education (CTE) Teacher and Department Chair, I've guided diverse learners in cybersecurity, coding, and robotics by pairing empathy with structure: clear goals, small steps, and frequent feedback. I honor IEP/504 supports, use data to target gaps, and turn abstract ideas into practical, hands-on learning. In sessions we model, practice, and "teach-back" to build confidence and independence. I also coach study habits and test strategies so success lasts beyond our time together. My promise: your student will feel supported, challenged, and proud of their progress.

It is my pleasure to see students confidence grow and enjoy the learning process, not just race to the end result. Having worked with varying ages and levels of learning has given me the patience and excellent interpersonal and communication skills it takes to help students to achieve their goals.I have a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in International Relations, with a Minor in Spanish. I enjoy travelling, meeting and getting to know people from different countries and cultures, reading, sports (especially football/soccer and tennis) and outdoor activities.I hope to use my international experience, love of learning and teaching to broaden my students' horizons and help them to realize their potential.

I recently retired from teaching at the same school for over 25 years! I taught 2nd grade for several years, and have spent the last 15 years as an Elementary Reading Intervention Specialist working with students from Kindergarten - 5th grade. I have also tutored many students outside of the school day to review and strengthen previously taught skills, provide additional practice or model strategies and enrich their understanding of and response to what they read. I graduated from the University of Missouri with a degree in Elementary Education and from Webster University with a Master's of Arts in Teaching with an emphasis in reading. In addition, I hold a K-12 special reading certification. One of my specialties is the close observation and identification of students' reading behaviors, and then using those observations to determine the specific item knowledge or skills students need to grow as readers and learners. At times, that can include clearing up their confusions or designing lessons to respond to their learning styles and individual needs. I have been trained in various intervention programs and understand the connection between listening, speaking, reading and writing. I have experience with developing students' phonemic awareness and understand the importance of linking what students hear to what they see when they read and write. I believe in building upon what students already know, imparting confidence so they can see themselves as learners, and fundamentally, that all children can achieve success. I enjoy reading in my free time and try to instill a love of books in my students. Some of my other hobbies are riding my bike, doing yoga and going to the beach with my family and friends as often as we can.
