I am also a graduate of St. John's University, College of Pharmacy and Allied Health with a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree. I worked through school and after in retail, hospital, long-term care, and as an independent CMS auditor. I was also honored to have been on numerous deployments with the National Disaster Medical Service (NDMS), a subset of the NHS & CDC. These medical deployments were in response to Hurricanes such as Maria that devastated Puerto Rico, and more recently two deployments to quarantine our citizens during Covid-19 in 2020.Being a life-long learner, I have come up against many personal challenges.
