Deborah A. Stallworth, DNP, FNP-BC, RN, CNE(C), CCRN, RRT, is a nurse practitioner working per diem while also pursuing a Ph.D. in Nursing. Passionate about combatting the health illiteracy and misinformation of people in underserved and marginalized communities, fueled by a determination to empower and make a difference when and where possible within the spheres of influence afforded, especially in nursing practice and academia.

I am a certified mathematics tutor with nearly a decade of experience helping students at the Community College of Philadelphia succeed in algebra, precalculus, calculus, and introductory statistics. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics (GPA 3.93) and a CRLA Level I Tutor Certification. My tutoring style is patient, structured, and tailored to each student's learning style. I focus on building understanding and confidence by breaking down complex topics into manageable steps. I am passionate about helping students achieve their academic goals and am committed to making algebra, calculus, and statistics less stressful and more approachable.

I am deeply passionate about early childhood education and dedicated to fostering a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for preschool children. with a background in child development and over three years of hands on experience in early childhood education, I have developed a keen understanding of how young children learn and grow. I'm here to make a safe learning space for all of my students. I want my students to feel valued and encouraged to explore their curiosity. I am committed to continuous professional development and regularly participate in workshops and training sessions to stay updated with the lates educational strategies and techniques. my goal as a preschool tutor is to instill a lifelong love of learning in children and provide them with the foundational skills they need to succeed both academically and personally.

There's a huge part of my personality that wants to help individuals learn in the best, positive way that they can. Everyone grasps knowledge differently, so it is vital to take a unique approach with each individual. I specialize in English Literature, Reading Comprehension, and History. My philosophy is that no one can take away the power of your mind. Knowledge is power, as they say, so educate yourself constantly.Outside of academics, I enjoy spending time with my loved ones, reading (of course!,) writing, gardening, cooking, enjoying nature and coffee. As of late, I've found all of my passions in the world WWII reenacting.

Working in the medical field for over 20+ years I have a desire to help. Quite a few people helped me along the way. This I believe is my purpose.

I am a graduate of Community College of Philadelphia with an Associates Degree in Nursing . I also have a Certificate in Nurse Aide Training from Penn State University. As a registered nurse one of my positions was a Staff Development Coordinator in which I taught all of the nursing staff nursing procedures as well as policies and procedures. I especially enjoy working teaching students how to care for their patients. My biggest joy is seeing the students become CNAs then furthering their knowledge and becoming LPNs and RNs. In my spare time I love crocheting, watching television and playing board, card and online games.

For the past eight years, as a school Mandarin Teacher, I have been teaching students of different ages. During this time, I worked with co-workers, as well as directors, to develop curricula that meet the needs of students. I enjoy tutoring students and helping them build confidence in their ability to achieve, both academically and socially. In addition, I have an exclusive teaching style, and also art talents and computer skills that are assets when developing certain projects.I am adept in motivating, instructing, and supporting students.
