I graduated from Eastern Washington University located in the beautiful town of Cheney, Washington. While there, I received my degree in Education with an endorsement in Physics and a minor in Africana Studies. After graduation I substitute taught in multiple high schools and middle schools. At the same time, I taught an intro to rock climbing class at night to people of all ages. Last year I moved to the wonderful state of Colorado and taught intervention math to freshman in the Montbello area. Even though I can tutor a variety of subjects (Algebra 1/2, Geometry, Physics, and Chemistry), I am most passionate about Algebra 1 and Physics. I love teaching Algebra 1 because it is the firm foundation of anything higher in math. If you struggle with it, the rest your math career will be a struggle. It is the best feeling when my students finally have that 'ah-ha' moment and understand how to manipulate an equation. Physics is my other passion because it explains how the world works! You want to know how fast a car was going when it drifted around that corner or understand why there is absolutely no sound in space? I’d love to explain it to you. Everyone learns in different ways. For some it’s auditory, some it’s visual, and for most it’s kinesthetic. I want to figure out how you learn and go from there. If you need to make angles with your body to know the difference between acute and obtuse then let’s do it! If we need to write a song with vocabulary for you to remember the terms then I am in. I want learning to be fun because that is how you are going to retain information. Outside of work I love rock climbing, acro yoga, 'upcycling' old clothes, watching movies like Lord of the Rings, and attempting to draw/paint.

I am a recent graduate of Eastern Washington University where I received my Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering after taking various classes at the University of Washington. I have tutored mostly advanced subjects, including Computer Programming in various languages, such as MatLab and Java, 3D Modeling Computer-Aided Design with Solidworks, and Applied Electromagnetics. I am qualified to tutor Mathematics up through Calculus, and also starter Electrical Engineering classes, such as Circuit Theory and Digital Logic. I enjoy tutoring Algebra, Trigonometry, and Programming because they provide an understanding of patterns and logic, which I believe are useful problem-solving techniques that can be utilized throughout life. In my spare time, I enjoy biking, hiking, weight lifting, healthy cooking, playing video games, and I also collect high-powered laser systems for experiments and entertainment.

I recently graduated from Eastern Washington University with a B.S. in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. I am very motivated to help students achieve their goals in academics. I have spent the last two years tutoring at Eastern Washington University in math, chemistry, organic chemistry, physics, and biology. In that time, I have learned which concepts students typically find difficult and how to simplify them. As a recent graduate, I know that school can be very challenging and overwhelming at times, but with the right study habits, motivation and resources students can succeed. Hello! I have been teaching English Language Arts for ten years, and History for three years. I am passionate about getting students the help that they need and creating lessons that are fun and interactive. I work very hard to ensure that students are learning and that they are meeting state standards to keep them on track for graduation and beyond.

I am a graduate of Eastern Washington University with a degree in music. I spent 20 years performing in churches, teaching both voice and guitar. I have written over 100 songs and have led small and large bands. I also have a masters in missional theology, which I used to plant and lead churches over the past 20 years. While leading churches, I coached leaders of all ages to be better at what they do and accomplish their goals. During COVID, I returned to school and got my master's in education from Edgewood College and a teaching license. I have been teaching for the past 4 years in private schools in Wisconsin. I firmly believe that leaders and learners are not born. They are made. Education is the primary way that we grow as humans and become who we were made to be. I am passionate about seeing people learn and grow in their knowledge and understanding of the world around them. Nothing brings me more joy than seeing a student learn something new.

I am a graduate student of Eastern Washington University. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene. I am currently one semester away from my Master of Science degree in Dental Hygiene. I am licensed to practiced dental hygiene in both Illinois and Indiana. I passed my National Board Licensure Exams the first time. While working towards higher education I have had different opportunities to help healthcare professionals study and prepare for Professional Certifications. I am very passionate about helping other colleagues prepare for the National Dental Hygiene Board Exam, and Licensure Exams. I also provide students with test taking strategies, study tips, and ways to be confident while test taking. Dental hygiene is filled with many subjects I believe I am well versed to help prepare with a broad range of studies. I can also help students prepare for writing. I will assist my students in expressing themselves, and becoming confident in test taking. I enjoy researching about the latest technology, staying healthy and fit by doing cardio and strength training, and spending time with my family.
