In 2014, I began working for the British Council as an IELTS examiner, where I conducted thousands of speaking exam and marked writing tasks while also working as a Second Marker and an Enquiry on Results (EOR) marker, until 2018, when I accepted a promotion within the British Council. Beginning at that time, I worked as an Assessment Solutions Consultant. As part of my duties in the role, I acted as the lead Quality Reviewer for the largest English language proficiency test in China, conducted research on various topics related to standard setting, artificial intelligence examining. I was also responsible for revising materials for Road to IELTS, an online prep course for IELTS takers. I received my MA in language testing, from Lancaster University in England, in 2018.My areas of teaching specialties include high stakes English language test prep (IELTS, TOEFL, etc.), academic writing and reading comprehension.
