I am a graduate of Georgia State University where I studied Journalism and Psychology. I am currently pursuing my graduate degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I am an advocate for literacy and higher education. In all fields, I feel it is important to be able to read and formulate thinking into sentences. I believe by educating and motivating youth they will discover the next big ideas, make a difference in their community, and give back to others.Outside of tutoring I enjoy music and watching television. I also enjoy spending time with my family and friends.

I had about 12 years teaching experience in middle school and college. One thing that I learned is that teach at student's level, not at my level. People easily forget how they learned when they were young, which cause the gap between a student and a tutor. For me, the most important thing of tutoring is to understand student's issue deeply and lead the student out of his/her mistaken perception of the course and himself/herself.
