My teaching philosophy is to make each training session as interactive, pleasant, interesting, as possible. I believe that an interactive curriculum is more memorable. I use tactics such as role-playing and competitive quiz games.

I am a lover of life, learning, and love. I strive to increase the capacity to learn as well as the enjoyment of learning. I continue to strive to increase my knowledge and wisdom to share with those around me.

I am a professor and former dean at a university. I am also an editor for student papers. I have a degree in BS in Life Sciences, MBA with Business Administration emphasis and a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership. I have been teaching for over 20 years and worked as a Dean for 15 years.I love teaching because I know how hard it can be being a student. Over the years, I have learned how to help others learn effectively. Most importantly students need encouragement and motivation to stay focused.I have also presented workshops and presentations at national conferences that emphasis on student retention in school. I am a graduate of Memphis State University, now the University of Memphis. I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with a minor in Biology. Then, I received my Master of Art in Criminal Justice from the University of Memphis, a Master of Teaching in Special Education, and Graduate Certificates in Community College Teaching and Leadership, Philanthropy and Nonprofit Leadership, IDT - Design and Development, and IDT- K-12 Educational Technology. I will graduate with my Ph.D. in Instructional Design and Technology this July. I taught Special Education for 11 years, and now I teach Criminal Justice courses to college students. I also develop online courses. In addition, I tutor and have tutored a variety of students over the years. My educational philosophy is that all children can learn; however, some children learn differently, and others learn at a different pace, but my job is to help them learn. When I'm not working, I like to read, travel with my son, who is autistic, and do arts and crafts.

My first and second degree was in Computer Science (B.Sc. and M.Sc.), then I moved on to do my Ph.D. in Instructional Design and Technology. Because I have a passion for teaching and learning and I know that people have distinct learning styles. And to make sure that courses and subjects are up and running.As technology always change and being in the technology environment and industry for long, my aim will be to teach students and lecture skills and theories and apply theory to practice preparing them for being education tech leaders. I would bring my knowledge of instructional theory and model by using ADDIE model and other relevant models like Backward Design/Understanding by Design (UbD), Design Thinking Model, Fink's Significant Learning Model, ARCS model based on the appropriate design of the courses. I am proficient with various learning and course management systems e.g., Blackboard, Moodle, Canvas, aTutor, Open edx, WebWork, Google Classroom, OpenLearning, eCollege, GlobalScholar and lot more. Most of my time is spent working in Blender, where I create and refine 3D models, textures, and assets. Through this process, I've learned how to break down complex concepts into clear, manageable steps, whether it's understanding software tools, spatial reasoning, or creative workflows. I enjoy helping others learn by explaining ideas in a straightforward, patient way and adapting my teaching style to how each student thinks best.
