I am addicted to seeing my students succeed. I tutor in the areas of creative writing, ESL, cooking, and TEAS testing. I also tutor students to increase reading comprehension. My students range in age from 8 to adult. My undergrad studies were in law and psychology. My Master's degree is in education, with focus on international education. I have written curriculum and administered training at the corporate level as well. I am a best-selling author and coach. I have my TEFL certification. I have students globally. I had the privilege of teaching English to the Rio de Janeiro police to prepare for the Olympics. I tutor students who are looking to enter nursing school to pass the TEAS test. I am a graduate of the Northcentral University. I received my PhD in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting. Before that, I received my BBA and MBA from the American University. Currently, I am studying for another PhD in Consumer Apparel and Retail Studies at UNC Greensboro. Since I have started teaching, I have worked in more than one country, tutoring undergraduate students who are studying for their Bachelor's degree. I also taught and tutored IGCSE Accounting for high school students. While I tutor a broad range of Accounting subjects, I am most passionate about managerial and financial accounting. In my experience helping struggling students prepare for their assessments, we always seem to have the most fun preparing for the analysis and the problem-solving portions of the exams. In teaching, my main goal is to get students to actively participate in classroom activities that help them to actively learn rather than just passively learn. Hello, I have been an educator for over twenty years. I have ample experience with ARRT exams; (Radiography, CT, Bone Densitometry, and Interventional). My strongest subjects are anatomy, positioning, pathology, radiation biology, radiation protection, and radiation physics.I also teach all aspects of psychology. Research and design as well as clinical. In Grad. School I was a NASA Graduate student researcher and recently I have begun my Residency in clinical psychology. My focus is Health Psychology. I provided psychological services to inpatients and outpatients. My primary model of therapy is DBT, but I have experience in EFT, Narrative, CBT, and Motivational Interviewing.

"You are never too old to get an education and learn something."This was a statement that my father said to me on a daily basis. Today, I carry that statement with me everywhere I go.I graduated high school in 1979 after dropping out in the mid 70's. After that, I took a few college courses to give me a leg up in raising my children. I tutored them and showed them how to read and write before they even were in school. I entered the U.S. Army and served for 9 years, then after leaving the military, I became a stay at home mom to teens.Eventually, I went back to college and earned my A.A.S. in Medical Assisting and became Certified in that field after few years I attended Ashford University an online school and earned my B.A. in Social Sciences with Education. I'm currently attending Northcentral University another online school for my Master Education degree in Curriculum and Teaching.I also work as a house substitute in 2 inner-city schools teaching all grades. Later this month I will sit for my Alternative Resident Educator license in Integrated Social Studies, then later this year I will once again sit for my Integrated Science test which I hope to licensed in as well.I love teaching students who have the drive to learn no matter much they don't know I find they always looking for the answer somewhere and I want to see them get to the point that they understand the answer and look for the next step to learning.
