Hi!I am a senior at Rollins College and have my IB diploma from high school. I did TOK, HLs: Psych, Econ, language and literature, and SLs: Spanish, biology, and mathematical studies. I prefer psych, econ, business, and anything English or literature related. I can do paper revisions, essay help, reading comprehension, elementary/middle/high school math. I would prefer more basic math and science, can help with reading and writing in Spanish, and am up for anything.I am graduating summer 2017 from Rollins, have recently started a company that I am securing contracts with right now, I love my dog, and I enjoy hanging out with friends every weekend.Disney is SO FUN. I like to spend my weekends there when I find the time.I used to horse ride and had the potential to go Olympic but became busy with the IB program then college.

I am passionate about helping students in any way that I can. From reading to math skills, I am willing to be of service to those in need. I have worked with students across various grade levels for about 3 years now and I experience much joy when I can help them with their learning. I am a graduate of Rollins College in Winter Park, FL and of the University of Central Florida. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Masters in Exceptional Student Education K-12 with an ESOL endorsement. Since graduation from Rollins College, I have immersed myself in education while trying to gain as much experience in the field as possible. After graduating from Rollins, I interned at a facility that specialized in educating students with autism and individually working with each student to assist them in reaching their academic potential. From there, I began working as a paraprofessional at a charter school that also educates students with autism. I worked there for three years before I transferred to my current job as a middle school InD teacher. I really enjoy the job and actually began my job as a tutor as a result. A parent of one of my students asked if I could begin tutoring her over the summer to keep her on track for the upcoming school year. Before I knew it, I was tutoring her brother (3rd grade) and another one of my students. I really enjoy tutoring and working one-on-one with students to achieve their academic goals. I particularly like working with students in math, writing, grammar, reading, and phonics. In my experience, I have noticed that many students are lacking education in developing the basic skills that can help them in reading (identifying letter sounds/blending) and in math (looking for key words in word problems/using manipulatives to better understand adding/subtracting/multiplying). I am a firm believer in education, and I believe that it is absolutely necessary to have in order for them to reach their full potential and reach their goals!

My name is Rachael and I am a recent graduate of Rollins College in Winter Park, FL. I earned my degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and am happy to share my knowledge and love for science with others. During my time at Rollins, I was chosen to tutor and grade lab reports for my professors. I also have tutoring experience from high school in my hometown back in Pennsylvania. I have a passion for learning and love nothing more than passing that passion onto those that I get the opportunity to teach. Every student is different and learns in their own individual way, so discovering the best route of tutoring is vital before beginning teaching. Through my years of tutoring, I have learned that patience and consistency are two virtues that I must utilize while helping students reach their goals. My tutoring subjects are focused in the sciences as well as Spanish, which I studied for six years.

I am a graduate of Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida. I recently received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 2019 with a focus on neuropsychology. I have several years of experience in tutoring high school students for various math classes, as well as tutoring other undergraduate college students in math classes and psychology classes. I'm most passionate about the subject of clinical, cognitive, and neuropsychology, but I find most math subjects to be exciting and entertaining. I'm also experienced in editing and reviewing essays, as I am also APA certified. Regarding my future, I plan on completing a master's program for psychology followed by a Psy.D. program with a specialization in neuropsychology.

I am an active voice teacher and performer. I believe in creating a safe space for exploration in every lesson, and my teaching method is highly energetic and positive. As a singer, I specialize in musical theatre and operatic styles, and I have experience teaching both of these styles. I would love to help singers at any level identify and achieve their vocal goals.

While attending the University of Central Florida, I succeeded in earning my Bachelor of Arts degree in English as well as minors in Magazine Journalism and Humanities. I also received a Master of Arts degree in Teaching with a focus on Elementary Education from Rollins College. I hope to earn my Ph.D in English within the next five to ten years. I taught second grade for two years in Florida before I moved to New York in the summer of 2013. My teaching certification is in general education for grades K-6 as well as English for grades 6-12. I am also ESOL endorsed. Along with teaching, I also tutored students from second through sixth grade after school on a regular basis. My tutoring sessions focused on Reading and Language Arts, although there were times that I tutored Math and Science as well. I also assisted in test prep for the FCAT, Florida's version of Regents. My favorite subjects to tutor are Reading, Writing, and Social Studies because these subjects allow for a vivid use of imagination and creativity. I love making "mind movies" when I read social studies passages because it makes me feel like I am back in time, experiencing the historical event for myself. I believe that students learn best when they are immersed in the material. Students cannot be expected to learn just by listening to a teacher talk about a concept. I am a supporter of using visuals, auditory enhancements, intense student debate and insight, and reflection writing to help students better understand various concepts. In my spare time I enjoy cooking, running, reading, writing, and watching football and basketball. Since I am from Miami, my favorite teams are the Miami Dolphins, University of Miami Hurricanes, and the Miami Heat. I also support my alma mater the University of Central Florida Knights.

I am a graduate of Rollins College in Winter Park, FL with a BA in Critical Media and Cultural Studies and Studio Art. Throughout my time at Rollins I was highly engaged with my local community and committed to service. I have a range of tutoring experiences from mentoring 3rd to 5th graders in Title I schools through the Read2Succeed program to being a peer tutor for college-age students at the Rollins Tutoring and Writing Center. Hi! My name is Kat and I am a professional archaeologist with a passion for education. I have a B.A. in Anthropology and Classical Studies and an M.A. in Classics and have experience working as an instructor in the classroom and in the field. I tutor German as well as many fields of European History. I have over a year of experience as a tutor in German and I hope that my expertise can help students on the road to bettering themselves intellectually. I have been exposed to German for close to 9 years and have been to Germany numerous times. I have conversed with natives and spent a month in a German language school to hone my abilities.
