Ciao! I'm San, and I am a medical student at the Sapienza University of Rome. During my undergraduate years, I completed my Bachelor's of Science in chemical biology and pharmacology and worked as a teaching assistant, research technician, resident advisor, and taekwondo instructor. I am currently a doctoral student in Public and Social Policy at Saint Louis University and I am finishing my dissertation from Wichita. I began to enjoy math and physics during my sophomore year of high school when I encountered trigonometry and algebra 2. I am deeply passionate about education and empowering students to reach their full potential. With a Bachelor's in Psychology and a Master's in Artificial Intelligence from Saint Louis University, I leverage my understanding of diverse learning styles to create engaging and personalized tutoring experiences. My tutoring journey began in high school as a teacher's assistant for third graders, where I focused on helping students overcome reading challenges and supported peers in subjects like computer programming and mathematics. My approach centers on fostering a supportive environment, encouraging curiosity, and connecting lessons to real-world applications, particularly in STEM fields. I have a focus in building and using certain AI tools. I've been vibe coding since the word was coined and I enjoy tackling new materials and tools!

Tutoring has been one of my favorite ways to connect and engage with my fellow students. I have tutored throughout middle and high school and even worked as a tutor in undergrad at Saint Louis University, where I received a B.S. in Biology. I am thrilled to continue tutoring during my medical school career now as well. It can be scary to ask for help, but I believe this is an excellent sign of strength and determination to improve one's skills and knowledge. My position as the tutor is to help build that confidence and caliber in subject areas that may seem confusing, so I want to always create a comforting, engaging, and individualized learning environment to make the session more efficient.
