I have taught every subject from Anatomy to Radiation Biology. I also have 20 years experience in General Radiography and 15 years of CT experience. I tutor: SPI and RVT.Work: I did my clinicals at the University of Michigan in 2013 and worked there until 2017. I began teaching ultrasound courses at Jackson college while I was at U of M around 2016. After a couple of semesters I became the clinical education coordinator for vascular ultrasound at Owens Community College in Perrysburg Ohio. After a year at Owens I went back to scan vascular ultrasound full time at U of M. I currently scan full time at U of M, teach ultrasound physics part time at Jackson College, and tutor here.Teaching style: My strongest characteristic is patience. I think classes are nice for getting the broad idea of things, but I really think that smaller groups or one on one sessions are a great place to get things that are falling through the cracks. Establishing what is falling through the cracks and figuring out/becoming comfortable with what we don't know will help get us to your end goal quicker. I've been doing this a long time and there are still things I don't know off the top of my head, but I'm always willing to learn those things together with my students.Education: I graduated with my Bachelors in Applied Science - Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound from Siena Heights in 2017 and my Associates in Applied Science - Vascular Ultrasound in 2014.
I am a graduate of Siena Heights University in Adrian, Michigan, where I received my Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Career Technical Education. I have had the opportunity to teach students in the Elementary, Intermediate, High School, and post secondary levels, including several community college assignments. A large part of my work in recent years has included adult education, with both adult career training and technical training for corporate employees.I enjoy the subjects of English, science, and history. I am also enthused about technical subjects such as computer technology, computer software, and electronics.I am an avid reader of both fiction and non-fiction. A favorite pastime is listening to good music and enjoying classic films. I also find time to write and review Wikipedia articles as a volunteer editor.

Obtained Bachelor's of Applied Science majoring in Radiologic Technology, with a minor in Healthcare Management from Siena Heights University in 2019. 12 year healthcare veteran, across multiple modalities, hospital based and clinic based patient care, across a wide variety of patient types. Most recently worked with children at Texas Children's in the Woodlands. Also licensed through Texas Medical board starting in 2018. I love working in imaging, it's extremely rewarding, with a chance to see or learn something new every day. Most hospitals I've worked at had radiology students, and I really enjoyed being able to share my knowledge and experience. I look forward to sharing that knowledge with students in this format as well.
