I earned my MBA from the University of Phoenix, after earning an Associate's degree in Computer Science and studying in an English/Writing program at Orlando College and Rollins College, consecutively. I chose to complete my Bachelor's and my MBA degrees with the University of Phoenix because at that point I was married with two children, while juggling a family, fulltime work and fulltime school. Education was a definitive pursuit for me. It was difficult, but achievable, so that became the origination of my passion teaching, mentoring, tutoring.I tutor many subjects like College English & College Writing, High School English & High School Writing, Essay Editing, High School Business Education, Business Writing--all levels; Personal Finance; Reading--all levels; Public Speaking; Business Ethics; Adult Literacy, and other subjects. I also advocate for young people to pursue and complete their education, here in the United States, and overseas. I am perhaps the most passionate about young people completing their education because I am fully aware of the distractions which coerce them to abandon their educational goals; many not having the opportunity to later correct that decision. I focus mainly in the areas of English/Writing and of course a Business focus for those young and older, yet aspiring entrepreneurs. My English/Writing focus is more applicable to my love for the English language. Since I was blessed to have been born into an English-speaking culture, I think I should pursue the perfecting of my first language above attempting to tackle others. There is also the knowledge that good communication is becoming a lost art, with the Internet and the supposed advances in technology. I also know that no matter a student's educational aspirations, or choice of studies, he or she must master the English language, writing, the related grammar, syntax, diction, etc. All college students are required to write various types of research papers, and all business people must write or facilitate and execute contracts, business plans and other critical business documents.I do know how to have fun, too, when I am not working or writing. I am a singer; I sang professionally and exclusively years back, prior to my business life. I also love the creative and performing arts, a wide range of music genres, and enjoy traveling to other continents.
With nearly three decades of experience in the accounting profession, I bring a wealth of financial expertise and leadership skills. My background includes overseeing complex financial operations and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, making me well-equipped to contribute to your learning.
Education has the power to transform lives, build confidence, and create opportunities that extend far beyond the classroom. As an educator with more than a decade of experience teaching students from diverse cultural, linguistic, and academic backgrounds, I view teaching not simply as a profession but as a commitment to helping learners discover their potential and achieve meaningful success. My philosophy is centered on creating engaging, supportive, and student-focused learning environments where every learner feels valued, challenged, and empowered to grow. Throughout my teaching career, I have worked with students ranging from young children to adults, including English language learners, students with special educational needs, and individuals requiring personalized academic support. These experiences have taught me that no two learners are exactly alike. Each student arrives with unique strengths, challenges, interests, and goals.

I am a graduate of University of North Florida with a degree in Elementary Education. I am reading Endorsed, English of Second Language Endorsed, Gifted Endorsed, & certified in Exceptional Student Education (ESE). In my experience, I meet children where they are. I believe in educating children at a level to help them be successful at first and then move to more rigorous assignments. I have been successful with student achievement on standardized test. I received an award from the State of Florida for being a highly effective teacher (with ESE students). Also, I have my masters degree in Organizational Management.
I am a Graduate of the University of Phoenix. I received by Bachelor of Science in Business Management. Although I have a degree in Business Management, I have an extensive background in Education. My experience in education extends from Early Childcare to High School students. I was the owner of a Preschool for over 20 years. I have taught Reading, Writing, and English at the Elementary school grade levels.I have also worked with students with disabilities and worked in school districts that supported the" No Child Left Behind" programs. My passion for working with children is the enjoyment that I get out of knowing that I am the source of their educational and learning experience. Nothing gives me greater joy than seeing a student have that "lightbulb" experience. Although I have taught many different subjects, Reading and Writing is my subjects of choice. My Philosophy on teaching is that every child learns at their own pace. However, as an Educator, making it fun, interesting, and inviting makes the student learning potential more obtainable. Real Teachers touch lives!Measuring the student progress, doing assessments, and setting obtainable goals are all of what embodies a successful student. As an Educator it is my job to help every student reach their full learning potential. In my 20 years as an Educator, I have mastered the many road maps that help students be successful. When I'm not wearing the hat of an Educator I enjoy traveling, shopping, riding my bike, and relaxing in my backyard by the lake. I am a wife, a mother of two sons, and very much so a family-oriented person.
