I received two Bachelor's degrees from East Carolina University: one in English and the other in Political Science. I received a certificate in Technical and Professional Communication. I also attended ECU for graduate school; I received a Master of Arts in English with a concentration in both creative and technical writing. When I wasn't writing poetry and nonfiction essays, I was concentrating on technical editing and grammar. While I graduate school, I had the opportunity to tutor student-athletes in English courses including literature and composition.
