I hold two master's degrees: one in human rights policy from the University of Minnesota, and one in discrete mathematics from Michigan Technological University, where I also completed my undergraduate studies with a dual major in computer science and mathematics and a physics minor. As part of my master's program, I held an assistantship teaching first-year calculus for three semesters (after one semester of training), and I have worked with individual students for several years through private tutoring work. I also have extensive knowledge of the extraction and distribution of natural resources, and how that affects populations, cultures, and politics. I hold undergraduate degrees in both Business and Mathematics, as well as graduate degrees in Business and Education, and a doctorate in International and Comparative Law. With over 20 years of teaching experience across English, science, and math, I've worked with students ranging in age from 2 to 20 in three foreign countries and, most recently, in my home country, the United States. My background includes extensive test preparation instruction for the TOEFL, SAT, and ACT, AP and core math classes for middle school through high school and university. I am a master's student at Western Washington University studying how nitrogen moves around an ecosystem. I did my undergraduate at Michigan Tech University where I studying Environmental Sciences and Math, which consequently are my two favorite subjects to tutor! I am a current student at Michigan Technological University and am currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in statistics.
