I earned my Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in history as well as my Master of Education in Educational Administration from Sam Houston State University. With 20 years of experience both teaching and leading in public schools, I feel I have the ability and tools to help all students, from those who excel to those who are struggling. My passions are teaching literature and writing at the high school level as well as helping students transition from high school to college. I have taught a course called College Transitions for 6 years and help my graduating seniors with topics such as organization, time management skills, study strategies, and planning for post-secondary education.
