I am a graduate of Texas Tech University with my Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science in Biology and Spanish, with a minor in Health Professions. Currently, I am in the process of applying to medical school. I have worked in many areas: tutoring high school students in a variety of AP courses, college students looking to practice or better understand the Spanish language or certain courses, and elementary/middle school students having trouble with reading, science, or math. While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about Biology, Spanish, and math. In my experience helping struggling students prepare for their exams, we always seem to have the most fun (with remarkable advancements) preparing for the essay portions of the exams. I am a huge believer in education, understanding it to be absolutely necessary for an improved quality of life, and I try to bring this excitement and appreciation to every student I work with.

I am a very helpful person and enjoy explaining my craft to people. I have always found computers and logic to be fascinating and love coming up with analogies to help relate the topics to people. I am a very practice coder. I can help any entry level programmer; as well as, challenge advance coders to push them to the next level. I've built an ALU from scratch and created my own IDE. I've solved intractable problems on a professional level. I've worked with computer vision on a collegiate level and some personal projects in my spare time. There is not a day that goes by that I'm not reusing my fundamentals in my day-to-day work; be it programming, analyzing, or software architecture.I have been programming since I was 6 years old (1987). I first started programming in BASIC on a TI-99 computer. I formally began my education in 1998 in high school studying C++ and assisted my classmates in their studies. I was instrumental in the formation of a 3D design class using 3D Studio Max software in 1999. I am a Texas Tech graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. My most notable course work included data structures, artificial intelligence, and computer graphics (OpenGL).I have been working within my industry since 1997 spanning languages such as Assembly, ASP.net, C, C++, and C#. I am well versed in scripting languages such as PHP and Javascript. I have even done extensive work with Adobe Flash software. I currently dedicate most of my time to development with HTML5 combining server-side technology in conjunction with the Canvas element to create a rapid prototype IDE.I have worked with teams and managed them as well. I have been instrumental in communicating development cycle to upper management in clear and concise ways. I can break down a topic from complex higher understanding to layman's terms. Throughout my career, I have ensured that myself and co-workers are practicing solid programming fundamentals. This ensures quality work and readable, reusable code.If you have me as a tutor, I will make sure you leave with a solid understanding, and share tools and methods that will help integrate your skills into the work force.

My mission as a tutor is to help students to fully comprehend, memorize, and be as successful in Latin as they possibly can. I am extremely patient and will do whatever it takes to help you become better at the language.

Hi! I'm Tuhin, a PhD student in Agricultural and Applied Economics at Texas Tech University, and I tutor Microeconomics for students who want the subject to finally make sense. I've spent years living inside economics as a researcher and as a teaching assistant guiding students through these exact topics. Along the way I learned something important: most students don't struggle because microeconomics is too hard. They struggle because it's often taught as a pile of graphs and formulas to memorize, with no one connecting it to the real reasoning underneath. That connection is what I focus on. When we work together, I won't just hand you the answer. We'll build your understanding of why it works why a demand curve slopes the way it does, what's really happening at the margin, how a firm decides to produce one more unit, why opportunity cost shows up everywhere once you start looking. I break concepts into clear steps, use everyday examples to make the abstract feel concrete, and check that each idea clicks before moving on. Whether you're prepping for an exam, catching up after a tough lecture, or aiming for a top grade, we'll go at your pace and build real confidence along the way. I'm patient, approachable, and genuinely enjoy this material and I'd love to help you enjoy it too. If you're ready to turn confusion into clarity, send me a message or book a session. Let's make microeconomics make sense, together.

I graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Cell and Molecular Biology with a minor in Chemistry at Texas Tech University. Currently, I am striving towards my Master of Science in Environmental Sciences and Policy at Johns Hopkins University, and will be obtaining my degree in May of 2022. Being a student myself, I am excellent at pinpointing what each learner needs to succeed. I was a former educator at a community college focusing on biology and microbiology. This college had multiple early college high school programs in place, therefore I have taught at the high school and college level. Prior to that, I was a group tutor for honors biology (known as a supplemental instructor), in which I created review packets and held sessions for the students. More than halfway through my advanced graduate program, I feel confident in my ability to stretch my teaching skills past biology and microbiology, into environmental science as well! The foundation of my teaching philosophy is to be patient and motivational. I encourage students to take their time and we can always attempt different learning methods or routes until the student truly understands the concept. I focus on reiterating concepts, drawing images and writing helpful key words on the whiteboard, and asking the student questions throughout the lesson to ensure they are grasping the material.I would love to help you succeed!

I graduated from an accelerated BSN program at Texas Tech University. I also have a BS in Zoology from The Ohio State University where I also completed Air Force ROTC. I served 7 years as a commissioned officer in the United States Air Force in charge of air traffic controllers and airfield management personnel. I met my husband while on active duty and after we got engaged, I separated from the Air Force and pursued my passion for nursing. I am excited to share my experience with taking the NCLEX, various study strategies that I learned while in a demanding 12-month accelerated nursing program, and my experience as a graduate nurse in a Level II trauma center. I am a big proponent of understanding the 'why' behind pathophysiology, signs, and symptoms, and nursing interventions. Trying to memorize everything is impossible and will not help you pass the NCLEX, however, if you understand the concept and pathophysiology, you can usually get the right answers and be way more successful.

Mental health is being discussed now more than ever and our young people need to have a better understanding of themselves and the world around them regarding human behavior.Teaching a variety of classes and being able to travel the world has taught me how to be a very integrated, patient and diverse teacher.
