I continued to tutor while at Stony Brook University where I graduated with a double major in applied math and bioinformatics/computational biology. I began to help others with subjects such as math and science at my uncle's local community center. When I was in the 8th grade, I would help kids who were much younger than I was at the time. As I grew older and learned more about mathematics and other subjects I also learned to tutor those around me in the same subjects. I began to prep for my SATs from when I finished 8th grade and by the time I was in 10th grade I was tutoring some who were older than I was at the time. I received my education on a full scholarship from The New York Institute of Technology in Mechanical Engineering with focus in Thermodynamics and Flight Vehicle Design.I have several years of experience tutoring high school and middle school children in Mathematics and Physics. In college I have taught Thermodynamics as a peer tutor, in a one on one setting, helping students achieve better understanding of concepts and providing them with learning tools such as review sheets and step by step problem solutions.With some team effort, I designed and developed a solar bicycle, capable of harnessing energy through regenerative braking; this project helped me attain more experience in the fields of Robotics and Construction.
