I have been tutoring students of all ages for the past 10 years. In that time, I have learned that all students have a passion for learning. However, they may not necessarily know that, or be able to express it in the 'normal' method of education.My goal has always been to encourage this passion. To that end, I work with my student to find the teaching method that works best for them, whether it is lecturing, working by example, or simply drawing out the concepts. I also personalize my lessons to the student's interest, so that they stay engaged, and are able to remember the lesson better.As I stated earlier, I have been tutoring for the last 10 years. Hi there! I'm Sam and I am a recent college grad and a current student at Jefferson University within the College of Biomedical Sciences. I love science and have a background in general biology, chemistry, as well as psychology.

I've been both learning and teaching my whole life! My studies are interdisciplinary, and I have a love for both the creative and the analytical, so I'm available to tutor a wide variety of subjects. I'm currently wrapping up my Bachelor of Architecture and starting my Masters in Urban Design. I'm originally from eastern Europe, but grew up and went to school in New York. When I was a high school student at Central High in Philadelphia, I struggled with some of the concepts in AP Chemistry, Biology and Math. It took me years of studying to understand that, sometimes it can really help to have the material presented in alternative ways.
