I first began tutoring during grad school, but educating others has been a part of my life since second grade, when my teacher paired me with a struggling student for the majority of the school year and pleaded with me to help him stay on track. I can still remember quietly whispering variations of the instructions to him and helping him complete his work after I'd finished mine. This propensity to help struggling workers has stayed with me. I have been teaching and tutoring LSAT prep for over ten years. I have a Bachelor's in English from the University of Dallas, a JD from Boston College Law School, a second Bachelor's in Music from Texas Woman's University, and a master's in Musicology (music history) from the University of North Texas. I practiced law for a little more than five years, first in Massachusetts, then in Texas (yes, I took and passed both bar exams the first time). I love the LSAT because I think the questions are all fun puzzles and I can see the connections between the questions and skills I used as a lawyer. I approach the material through dialogue with the student so that I can learn how the student sees the material and work together to identify key aspects of the test questions and how to distinguish right answers from wrong answers.
